Achromatic cylindrical lens
Achromatic cylindrical lens
Achromatic cylindrical lens are composed of two types of optical glass with different refractive indices. By compensating for the dispersion difference between the two glasses, they effectively eliminate axial chromatic aberration in white light or wide-spectrum laser systems, focusing light of different wavelengths at the same position and greatly improving imaging clarity and spectral uniformity. Compared with single-piece cylindrical lenses, achromatic cemented cylindrical lenses deliver superior image quality for wide-spectrum applications, making them ideal for spectrometers, white-light line scanning systems and multi-wavelength laser systems. Benchu Optoelectronics offers custom cemented lens pairs (K9+ZF4, BK7+F2, etc.) with targeted designs to match specific system spectral bands.
